How to Print

Some Virtual Court Kiosks include a printer with scan and copy capabilities (HP LaserJet Managed MFP E42540) and others just have a scanner (HP ScanJet Pro 2600 f1). This article will outline how to print forms and documents from the web, your email, or from a saved file. For troubleshooting a printer, and notify the nearest staff member.

Please note, some host sites may have their own procedures for printing from a Virtual Court Kiosk. If you are having trouble printing, notify the nearest staff member.

Printing from the Web

You can print exactly what you see in your web browser to make sure you have it for later. You can also print forms from the court's website or PDF documents with information you would like to keep for later.

  1. Click the menu button on the top right-hand corner of the browser window and then select Print... This will open a print preview page for that web page.

  1. Configure your options:

    1. Destination: HP LaserJet Managed MFP E42540 Printer is the default printer which can be selected from the dropdown menu if it is not selected already.

    2. Copies: Choose how many copies to print.

    3. Orientation: Choose between portrait and landscape orientation of the printed page.

    4. Pages: Choose what pages you would like to print.

  2. After adjusting the settings, click Print to start printing.

Printing from your Email

Print emails or documents that have been emailed to you. First, you'll have to log in to your email account to access your emails. Then you can print an entire email chain or just a single document.

  1. Starting from the kiosk's web browser, open a new tab

  2. Log in to your email. The most common email provider login portals are listed and linked below. They will open in a new tab so you can log in and still get back to these instructions.

  3. Find the email or attachment you want to print and open it up.

  4. Depending on your email provider, you might be able to print with a button, or you can follow the steps above for "Printing from the web" to print everything on the page you can see.

  5. When you see the print dialogue box pop up, configure your options:

    1. Destination: HP LaserJet Managed MFP E42540 Printer is the the default printer which can be selected from the dropdown menu if it is not selected already.

    2. Copies: Choose how many copies to print.

    3. Orientation: Choose between portrait and landscape orientation of the printed page.

    4. Pages: Choose what pages you would like to print.

Printing from a Saved File

If you want to fill out a downloaded form or download any other type of document to the kiosk, you can print directly from the desktop or from another program. These are some of the ways you can print from the kiosk directly.

  1. Choose Print from the program’s File menu.

  2. Click the program’s Print icon. The icon is usually a tiny printer.

  3. Right-click your unopened document’s icon and choose Print.

  4. Click the Print button on a program’s toolbar.
