Virtual Court Navigators are non-lawyers that provide users with help resolving minor technical issues and also provide relevant legal information and resources to users.
What can a Virtual Court Navigator help me with?
Resolving minor technical issues (ex: camera not working during a Zoom hearing) before and after your hearings/meetings.
Virtual Court Navigators can also provide users with free legal information and resources relevant to your legal issues.
Virtual Court Navigators can provide users with free legal information before and aftera hearing, but not during a hearing. They can never provide legal advice.

They can help you better understand legal information, and, in some cases, TLSC staff attorneys can provide free legal advice for those who qualify.

Contacting a private attorney for Limited Scope Representation
If you do not qualify for free legal advice there is another option that can make contacting a lawyer more affordable, limited scope representation.
Limited scope representation is a way to hire a lawyer to handle some parts, but not all, of your case. In a limited scope representation agreement, you and the lawyer agree on which parts you will hire the lawyer to do, and which parts you will do on your own. You can hire a lawyer, through limited scope representation, to only provide you with comprehensive legal advice.
